Hi, I’m Mia! I am your Chief Experience Officer and my goal is to provide you with an experience that allows you to access the Power in Your Pause.
My why
I’ve worn many hats and written many different chapters in my life and they have all led me here. To you. I wholeheartedly believe in this concept of discovering the Power in Your Pause, and I also believe that we cannot do it alone. We need community, both within this group and in our daily lives, to access our personal Power and I invite you to press Pause and tap into it yours. I also love nothing more than creating an experience for people.
A little more about me
I am an Enneagram 7w8 who grew up as a dancer in Atlanta, GA and went to Auburn University. I spent 3 years in Boston, MA working in Higher Education and 4 years in Buffalo, NY working in Advertising and running a Wedding Stationery business. In 2015, my husband and I flew back South and settled down in Greensboro, NC just in time for the birth of our oldest daughter.
I spent the early days of motherhood overwhelmed, anxious and lonely but did my best to act like I had it all together. It wasn’t until I rediscovered Yoga in 2016, began teaching in 2017 and had my youngest daughter in 2018 that I came home to myself. To be clear, I still have my fair share of challenges and dark days but I am now able to recognize and own my Power. I attribute this to my dedication and commitment to myself so that I can be present for my two beautiful girls, my incredibly supportive husband, a community that sees me and a passion for wellness, soul-care and curating experiences.
Phew, that got deep fast.
How about a little levity, eh? When I’m not teaching or practicing yoga, you can find me spending time with my family, riding my Peloton, curating playlists, listening to Podcasts, planning our next trip or gathering, being a local tourist, reading, or napping.
